Yes, it would seem that you are welcome there to voice your opinion only if you share their opinion!
Otherwise you will be warned, banned and the thread will be locked even though they have set up a forum for people who have previously been warned or banned for voicing their opinion.
It's a bit like the "No quibble guarantee" - we'll guarantee you unless you quibble.
Why do they bother having a Lounge for "What are you talking about"? The name suggests it's a place to discuss things you are currenty talking about, or so you'd think.
We here are all talking about maggot so we would think we could discuss it in "What are you talking about", but oh no. That would be too logical. Last night's thread was more or less civil, but it got locked.
There have been many many worse arguments, personal attacks, and they've been unchecked. Why? Well, glad you asked. It can only be because this particular mod felt s/he had to defend the sacred maggot. Pity s/he couldn't come out and say why. Just like Primavera.
There is no earthly justifiable reason for locking that thread. None.
It's strange isn't it? Because maggot clearly doesn't like the 3Arguido's as he feels they're competition for his 'Justice for Madeleine' campaign that he is figureheading from the murky depths of his maggot cave.
Some of us have known for a very long time that there is no real freedom of speech on the 3As. The modding has never been impartial either - just ask anyone who has been the subject of one of their attacks.
Yesterday the Hitchen thread produced the delightful irony of one mod calling for restraint and an end to personal attacks, while on the same page another mod joined in the kicking.
There never was free speech there, if you sang the right song, you were allowed to post. Ask a question, make a point based in fact, you were banned. The spanker was flavour of the month because he said the right things, never mind the real issues, he had the roiders hooked.
No change there then.
I see the 3 Arguido's site is now running scared and hiding from the public.
What a bunch of wusses. All mouthy at first but now whispering in private.
