How Mike Hitchen motivates himself
I used to motivate myself by imaging that someone was "pushing" me. Of course, this person was not only female, but also very attractive. Some times I would smack myself on the bum, (acting as a sort of proxy but with nowhere near the same sense of satisfaction!) and chide myself.
